Trespasses Forgive Us - This collection contains 59 poems. Gathering threads from the fabric of the United States (US), Trespasses Forgive Us weaves a portrait of a nation. Themes of love, deserts, identification, myth, flowers, inheritance, news, feathers, fires, media, violence, industry, and spirituality are harnessed and imagined in the writer’s perception of voices in this nation. The soul of a nation writhes in Trespasses Forgive Us, seeking forgiveness, and realizing strength, while demonstrating the spirit and inherent power alive in actions, wrong or otherwise. This collection is a deep love story that comes almost into form, and in a figurative, untouchable sense, portrays a plea for belonging in, and love for, a country.

TO PREPARE

- Mama said,

"If you are new to the writing, to the author, the book,

or the work,

take something from the beginning, then move swiftly

at the middle, where the soul sits, and get from there.

After, peek

at the end, where lessons push for light.

And this way, returning to the beginning, you'll have

some concept of the journey,

an idea of our path."

Field of Red - This collection contains 25 poems. Field of Red juxtaposes the perspective of an American Asian with the perspectives of tradition and heritage in China. We read from young to old, of the fundamental separations of tradition that occur when tradition encounters the soft erosion brought on by a global future. China is ancient in its recorded history, and its cultural roots are buried deep in cultivated visions of philosophy, art and beauty, energy and flow. The collection begins in old memories, carrying the reader through a cultural revolution in filtered, present experiences of ancient wisdom.
